No, I don't think it would be. If the pictures are moving, it's probably a teevee thing, right? [She is pretty awkward in saying tv, rather like an elderly person who hasn't kept up with technology trying to pronounce some new ubiquitous invention's name except for the fact that she's eighteen rather than eighty.] My world doesn't have any of this elec'ricity stuff. [Well possibly they had it 4000 years ago because that's how Tales worlds roll. But, wow, she can't even say electricity right.]
And besides, my world doesn't even have -- well, maybe it has manga, but I haven't seen any there. [The guy who explained to her what comics are was Japanese and she was holding a Japanese one at the time, so as far as she's aware they're all manga. She is able to make some connection between anime/cartoons and manga, though, since "pictures that tell a story" sounds similar.] So definitely no ani-me.
