[You know things are bad when not even books can grab Kari's attention. It's been over a month since the draft, since she was injured, and it's only in the past two weeks that she's finally been able to train without wincing at every twist of her body. And ever since then, that's pretty much all she's been doing -- anything to keep her mind occupied with as little human interaction required as possible.]
[Not even today's rain can stop her from training. Now that her injuries have more or less healed up, it was back to her usual routine: fighting simulated swordsmen, adding another each time she successfully defeats all of them, and subtracting one for each time she's knocked down. For awhile, she leaves the safety on -- but somehow that's just not enough. The enemy wasn't going to go easy on her in the battlefield, so why should she go easy on herself now? She needed to be stronger. Better. Even at her full strength out there, she wasn't strong enough to protect herself. If she were stronger, she wouldn't still be so upset about what happened out there. That's gotta be it, right?]
[After all, killing people is just part of what it means to be a hero in a place like this... right?]
[But as some point, the training has to stop. Her arms ache -- with the safety off, she probably recieved a rather nasty cut somewhere along the line. And she won't know how bad until she transforms back into Kari... but she can't exactly do that here, or else someone might be able to deduce her identity. And so she sets off for home, hiding the tired stagger in her step well. But upon returning home, she finds herself in a bit of a... predicament.]
[The voice that calls over the journal is most definitely Kari, and she sounds a bit strained:]
Uhm... is there anyone from the clinic who wouldn't mind making a house-call? I-I broke some glass and I fell. [...] Except, you know, the other way around. If it weren't so nasty outside I'd try to make it myself, but I don't think that's really an option for me right now. I kinda live on the top floor, and I'm already a little dizzy.
--
[ooc: Hoshikyo is training everyday from May 1st onward, so if an earlier day would be more convenient, go ahead an throw a different date in the subject line! Also, feel free to break time/space in terms of who reaches out to her for the voice part. Knowing Kari, this has probably happened to her more than once anyway!]

Having some trouble? You know - you seem to have a nasty habit of getting scraped up. Might want to see a psychiatrist about that.

Oh, shut up. Your beard makes you look like a porn star.

[Not that she's going to admit that, of course.]
And I'm not exactly jumping for the chance of being indebted to you again.

I-- I'm not from the clinic, but I'm able to heal you if you need it...! [He doesn't expect her to take him up on it since they don't know each other, but he can at least offer...]
[voice]
[If anyone's watching, they might notice how overwhelming nicer she is to this offer.]
Wow, that's really sweet of you to offer! I'd really appreciate it. Normally I'd try to heal myself, but I'm a little tired today. That and I'm still not really used to all this magic stuff here, you know?
[voice]
[Because not knowing where he's headed would be... um. Bad.]
[voice]
[Also there's gonna be a bit of blood on the doorknob, which is probably more of a giveaway.]
[voice -> action]
[It takes Jeb a while to get there, but he does move as quickly as he can. Once he gets to the top floor of community building 7, her room is indeed easy to find--though the blood on the doorknob is concerning. He knocks.]
Kari?
[Voice]
Of course. I don't work at the clinic, but I am accounted a skilled healer. Where do you live? I can be there directly.
[Voice]
[Plus, this way she can get right back to training without running the risk of making bad wounds even worse!]
I'm in Community building 7, on the top floor. But I hope it's not asking too much. I mean, coming all this way for someone you don't even know...
[Voice--Action]
[Closing her journal, the ageless-faced Aes Sedai makes her way over and climbs the stairs. After her bout of witchcraft and newt-making, she feels more obligated than usual to look after inhabitants. Not to mention having a strong desire to make connections that could be beneficial in the future.
A light tapping comes at the door a little while later.]
[Action]
[When she opens the door, it's probably pretty easy to guess by looking at her that she did far more than drop some glass. One arm is wrapped in a bloodied towel and the other is covered in long, thin cuts. Her skirt is torn in a few places and her shirt is dotted with small blood stains here and there.]
Hi! Uhm. I didn't get your name, but. I'm Kari.
[Great first impression, here.]
[Action]
You may call me Moiraine, Kari.
[There's no accusation in Moiraine's voice or eyes, only outward calm, but it's obvious that Kari's lied to her. Glass wouldn't do that. Battle might, but not glass.]
May I come in and see to your treatment?
[Action]
[Action]
[voice]
The top floor of which building, please?
[voice]
[...wait, no. Focus, Kari!!]
Oh! Uhm, it's Community building 7. If I didn't live on the top floor I probably could have gone myself. But you know how it is, trying to navigate all those stairs even on a good day...
[voice]
[It will take a bit more than a few but she'll hurry, especially if it's bad.]
Can you be more specific about what happened?
[voice]
[Which is a pretty good story and she tells it like it's very much the truth, but it'll probably be pretty clear coming up to her building that no such accident looks to have taken place there. Unless she's just some kind of super cleaner.]
I already cleaned the glass out? But, you know, looking at all the blood's made me kinda nauseous.
[voice]
[And once she gets there, and comes up the steps? The glass-free steps? She'll be a little suspicious, but mostly worried about the extent of this girl's injuries.]
