[You know things are bad when not even books can grab Kari's attention. It's been over a month since the draft, since she was injured, and it's only in the past two weeks that she's finally been able to train without wincing at every twist of her body. And ever since then, that's pretty much all she's been doing -- anything to keep her mind occupied with as little human interaction required as possible.]
[Not even today's rain can stop her from training. Now that her injuries have more or less healed up, it was back to her usual routine: fighting simulated swordsmen, adding another each time she successfully defeats all of them, and subtracting one for each time she's knocked down. For awhile, she leaves the safety on -- but somehow that's just not enough. The enemy wasn't going to go easy on her in the battlefield, so why should she go easy on herself now? She needed to be stronger. Better. Even at her full strength out there, she wasn't strong enough to protect herself. If she were stronger, she wouldn't still be so upset about what happened out there. That's gotta be it, right?]
[After all, killing people is just part of what it means to be a hero in a place like this... right?]
[But as some point, the training has to stop. Her arms ache -- with the safety off, she probably recieved a rather nasty cut somewhere along the line. And she won't know how bad until she transforms back into Kari... but she can't exactly do that here, or else someone might be able to deduce her identity. And so she sets off for home, hiding the tired stagger in her step well. But upon returning home, she finds herself in a bit of a... predicament.]
[The voice that calls over the journal is most definitely Kari, and she sounds a bit strained:]
Uhm... is there anyone from the clinic who wouldn't mind making a house-call? I-I broke some glass and I fell. [...] Except, you know, the other way around. If it weren't so nasty outside I'd try to make it myself, but I don't think that's really an option for me right now. I kinda live on the top floor, and I'm already a little dizzy.

[ooc: Hoshikyo is training everyday from May 1st onward, so if an earlier day would be more convenient, go ahead an throw a different date in the subject line! Also, feel free to break time/space in terms of who reaches out to her for the voice part. Knowing Kari, this has probably happened to her more than once anyway!]

[She's not sure how long it'll take him to get here, but she makes an effort to stand and wait near the door. It should be obvious which door is hers, given there's a bit of blood on the front door.]

KNOCK KNOCK YOUR SAVIOR IS HERE. ]

[It's probably testament to how used to these kind of injuries she is in that she doesn't seem too phased by them. But really, if not for the fact that they were just more cuts on top of old scars, they'd probably hurt a lot more.]
...so, you think maybe "fell through a broken window" might be a little more believable?
action
That depends on what your hobbies are. How much blood have you lost? [ SHOULD HE BE TURNING HER OVER TO THE HANDS OF A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL OR ]
action
[But beneath all those prickly layers of resentment towards his beardy manliness, she's grateful to him for saving her before. A little. So she won't make a wise-ass remark about it.]
It looks worse than it actually is. I think. I mean, I'm only dizzy because I'm tired. I kinda overdid it training today. Just a little. [More like a lot.] But I can't really do anything about my arms with only one hand, and they got the worst of it...
action
[ He liked 'hauling your ass to the battle dome' better. More flourish. ]

[There's a reason she still has one arm wrapped in a towel. It was the one she blocked with. And she doesn't wear a shield. It doesn't seem too bad to her, since she's used to worse, but the whole won't-stop-bleeding part is a little concerning.]

They're over here, on the table. [Walking towards the coffee table in the center of the room -- with a bit of a limp and a wobble. Yeah, definitely overdid the training today. When she sits back on the couch, it's with a slight wince.]
[Thankfully, there's definitely more than enough bandages and the like here. She's used to this sort of stuff happening, after all.]

Let's get this show on the road, then. [ He picks up one of the rolls before sitting down next to her. ]

[Then again, it's not as though this was any better. And based on the numerous scars along both arms, it's probably pretty clear that she's never really learned her lesson about not doing this kind of stuff.]
[She's still doing pretty well to hold herself together, but she is pointedly not looking at the injured arm.] ...s-starting to think I should invest in a shield. My arm isn't a very good substitute.

Tony was no medic, but to his credit, he's gentle. He has a mechanic's hands, trained for precision, and he knew from experience how a poorly-wrapped bandage could hurt like hell. ]
