[Hello, Luceti. Have you been enjoying the strange little time shifts that have been coming and going these past couple of months? Because Kari hasn't. In fact, she's in the middle of one right now, and it's extremely unpleasant. Why is that, you ask?]
[Because she was just inside the elevator when they suddenly decided to not exist anymore. Unfortunately, they only decided to stop existing on the floor she was on at the time, so there's nowhere for her to go. At least it didn't turn into a bottomless elevator shaft to drop her to her doom. But they did turn into some kind of hellish stairway-purgatory with no doors, no windows, and nothing but two sets of stairs going up and down that simply lead to walls.]
[Thankfully, she has her journal with her to live-blog the incident.]
It's been 20 minutes now.
I'm stuck in a building somewhere. Like, literally. The elevator disappeared and now I'm apparently stuck in the wall.
The possibility of escape seems low.
Updates to follow.
The first hour.
There's no windows in here. Not sure how much air I have. Probably a lot.
It's cold. And hot. I'm so hungry.
And I think I left some instant noodles in the microwave.
Hour 2 of Elevator Purgatory.
I'm starting to hear voices.
No, seriously, these walls are way too thin. Maybe if I knock loud enough the people on this floor will start to think the place is haunted?
I'm like this close to trying to break the wall down.
Hour 2 and 10 minutes.
Don't try to punch walls with your bare hands.
Especially using the arm you broke few weeks ago.
It will hurt and you will feel like a dumbass.
Hour 3.
All hope is lost.
I've resigned myself to Elevator Purgatory forever.
Tell my mom I love her.
[Okay she's clearly being a little overly dramatic. But she's bored, and this doesn't look like it's going away anytime soon, so have at it! Feel free to specify what time your character is responding to, otherwise I'll just assume Hour 3. EDIT: And for people who might try teleporting in to save her, there's also a 100% power-cap shift going on inside the room, so anyone who goes in will be stuck with her until the time shift ends!]

[And with that Kari will just... play on her phone for awhile or something. With the sound muted in case she hears any knocking, of course.]
[Written/Action]
I'm here, heading up to the second floor.
[And from there, Ginia will walk up to each floor, pounding heavily on the wall and door, whistling loudly and listening for any sounds from inside the walls.]
[Written/Action]
[She won't get any response until she hits the fourth floor. Pounding on the wall will get a very soft banging sound in response, coming from higher up just above the ceiling. The elevator was between the fourth and fifth floor when it stopped, after all.]
[Written/Action]
[Written/Action]
I can hear you really well from wherever you're knocking now!!
[Written/Action]
Looks like you're between the fourth and fifth floor. I'm on the fifth floor right now, going to try to create a hole above you and pull you out. I want you to stand as far toward the back as you can.
[Written/Action]
There's still (useless, going to nowhere) stairs on either side of me, so don't worry about thinking you might hit me with something!
[And she'll just head up the ones going up to get the most out-of-the-way she can. They don't go any higher than 5 or 6 steps before they stop, but hopefully that's enough room.]

[Written/Action]
[At a certain point, the elevator shaft will strangely give way to more drywall rather than the outside of the elevator -- that's where she'll know she's getting close.]
[Written/Action]
Hey, doing okay?
[Written/Action] I NINJA'D A REPLY BEFORE YOUR EDIT oops
G-Ginia!
[And then remembers and checks the journal for a response. But she'll just voice this one--]
Y-Yeah, I'm okay! It's a little loud, but I can take it!
[Of course, now it's just a matter of figuring out how to get her out once the hole is big enough. Kari was using the elevator for a good reason, after all. She's still not able to move too much after getting so injured on the draft. Climbing out might be a problem...]
[Written/Action]
[Written/Action]
Th-Thank you! For awhile I was afraid I'd starve in here!
[...also, since Ginia is only hearing her voice right now, she's free to notice if it sounds a little familiar. Though it could just as easily be written off as a coincidence.]
[Written/Action]
I'm going to have to keep chipping away. Want me to get something you can cover your ears with?
[Written/Action]
That's okay! I-I think I'm used to it already!
[Written/Action]
After this I'll help you to the clinic, make sure there are no injuries.
[Written/Action]
I don't think that'll be necessary! I mean, it's not like I hurt myself just sitting around here doing nothing for a few hours.
[Written/Action]
Going to begin hammering again, hang on a bit longer.
[Written/Action]
[And with that, Kari will just resume eating those snacks Ginia brought with her head turned against her shoulder to block one ear, and a hand clamped down over the other. That's about how she'll look when Ginia finally breaks through far enough for her to look inside.]
[Written/Action]
Face sweaty and covered with dust, stray bits of hair mussed and coming out of her ponytail, behold your hero.]
[Written/Action]
Oh, my hero! And here I thought I'd be stuck here forever!
[Written/Action]
I have a rope here. Can you climb out okay or do you want me to help pull you up?
[Written/Action]
[The reply does take a little while, but for a different reason.]
...maybe? I mean, I can try! But I'm [...] not very strong, so I don't know if I could climb up the rope myself.
[It was an easier to lie than to try and explain her lingering injuries from the draft.]
[Written/Action]
I can put a fixed loop at the end of the rope. If you can put your feet in the loop, I can haul you up then grab your hand.
[Written/Action]
[And also thankfully she's got long sleeves on, so her lie won't be spoiled so easily.]
